Description
⚙️ Project Concept & Working Principle:
The RFID Cloud Attendance System is a complete IoT solution designed using ESP32 (30 Pin Type-C), allowing you to record attendance and verify users seamlessly.
When a user scans their RFID card, the system checks if the card is registered or not.
✅ If Valid: The Green LED turns ON, the buzzer beeps once, and the LCD shows the user’s name, ID, and Wi-Fi signal strength. The data is instantly sent to Google Sheet & also as a message to a Telegram account.
- ❌ If Invalid: Red LED turns on, buzzer sounds an alert, and a notification is sent to Telegram stating “User not verified.”
💬 Note: The system can also work with WhatsApp API, but it’s not included since WhatsApp’s API is not free. For this project, we use Telegram as the message-sending platform.
This project combines RFID authentication, Wi-Fi connectivity, and IoT-based cloud logging into one compact, ready-to-build kit — perfect for students, institutions, or enthusiasts.
🧠 Key Features:
✅ ESP32 Wi-Fi-based attendance logging system
✅ RFID authentication with LED and buzzer indicators
✅ Real-time user details sent to Google Sheet
✅ Instant Telegram notification for valid/invalid users
✅ LCD display with name, UID, and Wi-Fi signal strength
✅ Supports both battery-powered and adapter-powered versions
✅ Fully DIY-ready and also available as a fully assembled coded project

💬 FAQ Section:
Q1: Does this project need internet to work?
✅ Yes, it requires a Wi-Fi connection for logging data to Google Sheet & sending Telegram alerts.
Q2: Can I use this project without Telegram?
✅ Yes, it will still work locally (LED, LCD, buzzer), but cloud logging and alerts won’t be sent.
Q3: Can I modify the code to use WhatsApp?
⚠️ Technically yes, but WhatsApp API is paid. That’s why we used Telegram — it’s free and stable.
Q4: Will I get the complete source code?
✅ The “Full Build Coded” version includes pre-programmed code, but the code is not shared publicly to protect development work.
Q5: Can I customize the Google Sheet?
✅ Yes, we can assist you in linking your own Google Form or Sheet during setup.
Q6. Can I modify or expand the project later?
Yes, the ESP32 allows further upgrades like fingerprint modules, OLED screens, or mobile app control.
Q7: What if I enter wrong voltage or polarity?
⚠️ ESP32 is sensitive. Always use regulated 5V input or LM2596 for voltage control.
🧩 Use Cases:
Smart Attendance System for Schools/Colleges 🏫
Office Entry/Exit Monitoring 🏢
IoT Access Control Projects 🔐
Engineering Project Demonstrations 🎓
RFID & Cloud Communication Learning Kit 💻
Important Notes:
ESP32 operates safely between 3.3V – 5V input range.
Do not exceed this voltage when using batteries.
For long use, adapter-based setup is recommended.
Telegram API is free; WhatsApp API requires a paid business account.
Cloud integration supports up to unlimited users via Google Sheet (depends on your form setup).
